Afghanistan School on Internet Governance (AfSIG 2017)


The National IT Professional Association of Afghanistan (NITPAA) is pleased to announce the first Afghanistan School on Internet Governance at Kabul to be held on 26 – 27 April 2017.

The primary objective of the Afghanistan School on Internet Governance (AfSIG) is to help individuals from Afghanistan to understand the national, regional and international Internet Governance issues, settings, and processes, while gaining access to comprehensive and structured knowledge on various aspects of Internet Governance, and the actors, issues and settings surrounding it.

AfSIG 2017 will be 2 day long course that will cover the most important and relevant issues and aspects of IG.

AfSIG 2017 is endorsed by key National and International Organizations, like Ministry of Communication and Information Technology (McIT), the Asia Pacific School on Internet Governance (APSIG), Afghanistan Telecom Regulatory Authority (ATRA), Asia Pacific Top Level Domain Association (APTLD).
